T-Mobile’s New Family Promo Offers 6GB Data At $30 Per Line

T-Mobile may be ending its ‘Spring Break Promo’ that it announced last month, but the carrier is in no mood to take things easy and rest on its laurels, having just registered its 7th successive quarter with over 1 million net postpaid subscriber adds in Q1, 2016. The company has now announced a new promotional plan that it says will help the nation stay connected during this summer and “as America gets set for summertime travel, summer camps, summer concerts and more fun in the summer sun”. According to T-Mobile’s press release, a new family plan being introduced by the company will allow families to get 4 lines with unlimited talk and text with 6 GB of LTE data per line for just $30 a line.

What the latest promo from T-Mobile brings in essence, is 24 GB of LTE data overall for just $120, which would allow families to save $20 per month on T-Mobile Simple Choice with Family Match. Users may add up to 8 additional lines on the same account, with each additional line costing $20 each and bringing the exact same benefits of unlimited talk, text and 6 GB of data on each line. One important thing to note is that the quoted prices are just the service charges for T-Mobile and does not include any taxes and fees, which will be charged on top of the listed price. Any device payments, as applicable, will also be charged over and above the prices mentioned.

T-Mobile also has a number of other promos running already, one of which allows users to get a Galaxy Grand Prime smartphone for free when they choose to buy either of Samsung’s latest premium handsets, the Galaxy S7 or the Galaxy S7 Edge. T-Mobile, of course, also allows users to stream unlimited video and music from select sources such as YouTube, Netflix, Pandora, Spotify and numerous other websites and services as part of its controversial ‘Binge On’ streaming service, that some observers say violates the core principles of net neutrality. Either way, the ‘Un-carrier’ has been having a great time over the past couple of years or so, having already gone past Sprint last year to become the third-largest carrier in the country behind Verizon and AT&T.
