Vibes & Marketo Partner Up to Bolster Mobile Marketing

On Tuesday, Vibes announced that they are entering into a strategic partnership with Marketo. For those that haven’t heard of Marketo before, they are a San Mateo, CA-based company that is also a leader in providing engagement marketing software solutions that enable marketers to add key mobile channels into automated campaigns. With this partnership, marketers will be able to seamlessly integrate text messaging, mobile wallet marketing and mobile wallet advertising into their own existing campaigns. The result will be a significant increase in the opportunity to reach consumers.

Marketo’s senior director of Product Solutions and Innovation, Mike Stocker stated that “by integrating Marketo’s best-in-class marketing automation platform with Vibes’ best-in-class mobile marketing, we’ve created a solution that empowers marketers to reach consumers on their device of choice with both speed and personalization.”

With this new partnership, marketers will now be able to utilize mobile wallet as the post-click destination for digital advertising campaigns in Marketo. This is powered by Vibes’ WalletAds solution. Consumers will also be able to choose whether they want to receive a text message for confirmation of a sale. Which is another added feature in this partnership. Jack Philbin who is the co-founder and CEO of Vibes also noted that “communication on mobile devices is all about speed, convenience and ease of use.” That couldn’t be any more true in today’s landscape. He also noted that consumers are frequently preferring mobile over other platforms.

Marketo is holding their Marketing Nation Summit in Las Vegas this week (May 9th through the 12th) and Vibes will be there. They tout that there will be over 6,000 marketers from around the world attending this conference. You’ll find educational sessions, workshops, training that will empower marketers of every level and so much more.

This is a big deal for mobile marketers. We aren’t talking about just those that are looking to sell their apps and games to more users, but companies that sell products. Often times, companies like Verizon, Chipotle, Sears, Home Depot and others, rely on mobile experiences to drive customers either to their site or into their stores across the country.
