Using our smartphones without our hands has been the goal of the industry for some years now. We’ve seen plenty of movement in that direction in a number of ways and from a number of different companies, but often times these sorts of things are only limited to a certain brand or phone model. Logitech, manufacturer of accessories and peripherals for your smartphone and other gadgets, is jumping on the hands-free bandwagon now too, only now they’re doing it via a new peripheral that will work with any Android based phone.
Running under their sub-brand, Logi, the Logi ZeroTouch is designed to give you hands-free and eyes-free operation of your phone while driving. Utilizing one of the two available magnetic mounts, pictured above, you can mount your smartphone either on your dash or window via the larger black mount, or right on your nearest air conditioning vent via the red vent mount. A small metal sticker needs to be placed on the back of your device to utilize the magnetic features of the ZeroTouch properly, and can even be used through your favorite case as well. Just how well does this little peripheral and companion app work? Incredibly well, to say the least. Check out our video below of it in action, with a few examples of how it works and how it can help you drive more safely and still keep in touch with your friends and family.
