Alcatel Pop Star Smartphone Unveiled In India
The Alcatel Pop Star is the company’s entry-level smartphone for the Indian smartphone market. This device sports a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, 1GB of RAM and it is fueled by the MediaTek MT6580 quad-core SoC running at 1.3GHz. The phone comes in Metal Silver and Metal Gold color options, and it will be available for Rs. 6,999 ($104) in India soon, though we don’t know when exactly.
YU Yunique, Yuphoria & Yureka Plus Getting Android 6.0.1 Next Month
YU is an India-based smartphone manufacturer which has released a number of affordable devices to date, including the Yunique, Yuphoria and Yureka Plus. That being said, these three devices will get Android 6.0.1. Marshmallow within the next 30 days, says the company. Sony Xperia X, Xperia XA & XA Ultra Coming To Philippines On June 14th
Sony Philippines has announced that the Xperia X, XA and XA Ultra will be available in the Philippines soon, The devices will launch on June 14th, and presumably be available soon after that. The company still didn’t release official pricing for these three smartphones, we’ll probably have to wait for June 14th in order to get that info. The Xperia X Performance won’t be announced on that day, Sony will probably release it separately at some point.
The Entry-Level Lenovo Vibe C Gets Announced In India
The Vibe C is Lenovo’s new entry-level smartphone for the Indian market. This device sports a 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) display, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 210 quad-core SoC, and Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with Lenovo’s Vibe UI on top of it. The phone is priced at Rs. 6,999 ($104) in India, and it will be available soon.
OnePlus Releases Yet Another Marshmallow-Based Beta For OnePlus 2
If you head over to the OnePlus forums, you’ll be able to get yet another Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based OxygenOS beta update. If you install this update, you’ll get the OxygenOS 3.0.1 on your device, though do keep in mind that bugs are quite probably going to be present here, this is a beta update after all.
