ADWLauncher Is Back With A Bang, v2.0 Beta Now Available

Launchers are one of Android’s advantages over other mobile operating system. In case you don’t like the skin that comes with your Android device, like TouchWiz, MIUI, EMUI, Sense… or any other for that matter (including Google’s Google Now launcher), you can rectify that by using a third-party launcher. Now, launchers don’t only change the look of your setup, they also add a number of features, though that will vary from one launcher to the other, of course. That being said, Nova Launcher and Action Launcher are amongst the most popular third-party launcher solutions in the Google Play Store, and the ADWLauncher was once at the very top as well. This launcher was once one of the most popular and most customizable launchers in the Google Play Store, but the launcher stopped getting updates a long time ago, and people have more or less switched to some other options. Well, ADWLauncher is back with a bang!

The developer of this launcher, AnderWeb, has just released ADWLauncher 2.0, but it’s in beta, so do keep that in mind. The developer started working on 2.0 version 5 years ago, but he never finished it, well, it’s almost done now, this beta is supposed to be quite stable. The whole app has been revamped, and you do get tons of new features here, and all the customization you want (well, almost). You can now replace the bottom panel with basically any widget, create as many custom widgets you want, choose from a number of additional desktop transitions and drawer styles, while you also get tons of other customization options. Dynamic UI coloring using wallpaper colors is here as well, and the fast scroll has been added as well. The list of new features and changes is simply too long to list here, so if you’d like to check out this change log, please visit the source link down below.

The ADWLauncher 2.0 is free, but you can always purchase the ‘Premium’ version in order to unlock all the features. If you’d like to take a closer look at the new ADWLauncher 2.0, check out the embedded video down below. Now, considering this is a beta version of the app, it is still not available in the Google Play Store. If you’d like to try out the app, however, you can opt-in for the beta release by clicking here. Once you do that, you’ll be able to download the app via the Google Play Store.
