The company has introduced three new smartphones back in April, the Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2. These three devices were introduced in China, and LeEco has announced that they will be unveiled in India as well at some point. Well, the time has come, LeEco has hosted a press event in India earlier today, and the company has announced some hardware during it, read on.

The company has unveiled three products in India today, the Le 2 smartphone, Le Max 2 flagship phablet and a pair of earphones. The specs of these two handsets are actually identical to the ones in the Chinese models which were introduced earlier. The Le 2 sports a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 652 64-bit octa-core processor, and an Adreno 510 GPU. The 16-megapixel camera is placed on the back of this phone, and an 8-megapixel shooter can be found up front. The device ships with a 3,000mAh battery (fast charging included), while Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes out of the box here with LeEco’s EUI 5.8.

This handset is fueled by the Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core processor, and a 3,100mAh battery is included on the inside (+Quick Charge 3.0). On the back of this device you’ll find a 21-megapixel camera (Sony’s IMX230 sensor), and on the front lays an 8-megapixel snapper. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed here as well, and same goes for EUI 5.8. The Ultrasonic Fingerprint sensor is also included here, and so is infrared sensor and Dolby Atmos for audio. It is also worth mentioning that LeEco introduced a Type-C earphones in India as well, and these earphones use CDLA (Continual Lossless Digital Audio) tech in order to enhance your audio experience. These are made for the Le 2 and Le Max 2 considering these two phones don’t sport a 3.5mm headphones jack like other phones do.

The Le 2 comes in Silver, Gold and Gray color options, while it costs Rs. 11,999 ($180). The Le Max 2, on the other hand, costs Rs. 22,999 ($345) and Rs. 29,999 ($450) for the 4GB and 6GB RAM version, respectively. The Le 2 will be available through LeMall.com and Flipkart soon, we still don’t know the date, but the Le Max 2 will be available starting from June 28th through either LeMall.com or Flipkart. LeEco did not share any info regarding the availability of the Type-C earphones, but we presume they will become available soon, maybe even ship along with these two phones (bundled).
