Nextbit Lowers The Robin To $299 For All Customers

The Nextbit Robin launched earlier this year with plenty of excitement behind it, and since its time in the limelight it has dropped in price to $299 in the U.S. and in India. Initially, the $299 price for the Robin on Amazon was only supposed to be valid for a limited time, but the price had since permanently been changed to $299 down from the original cost of $399. In a blog post today, Nextbit announced that they wanted to be fair to the rest of their customers who may not live in the U.S. or India, and have made the Robin available for the cost of $299 for all consumers via the Nextbit website.

This is great news and a great price for anyone who was wanting the Nextbit Robin but wasn’t fond of the higher price tag in their regions. There are some things worth mentioning though, mainly the fact that so long as Nextbit will ship a Robin to your region, the price will be available. In addition to the new lower price for everyone, Nextbit is offering standard shipping to any location where they ship the phone at no cost to the consumer, so you can pick it up without having to spend any extra money over the price tag of the phone, unless, of course, you want it faster than what standard shipping will offer up.

With the new lower price, now might be one of the best times to pick up the Nextbit Robin following their recent launch of the beta software program that allows users to test out new software changes before they’re rolled out to the public. If you’re interested in the Nextbit Robin and are considering picking one up, just as a recap the Robin comes equipped with a 5.2-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution, and it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. it also comes with 100GB of cloud-based storage if you need it, and it has a 2,680 mAh battery inside. It charges via USB Type-C and it carries a 13MP rear-facing camera with phase detection autofocus and dual-tone LED flash, while on the front you have a 5MP camera for selfies and video chat. The phone also comes unlocked, so it will work on any GSM carrier.
