If you’re an AT&T customer or are considering switching, AT&T has some deals for you that are potentially worth looking into. A new BOGO promotion is on the way as AT&T announced this afternoon that they will be starting a new Buy One Smartphone, Get One Free deal on Friday, July 15th. As one would expect, there are some caveats to pay attention to. Customers who are interested in picking up a smartphone for free will have to purchase both phones on either the AT&T Next Every Year plan or an AT&T Next plan. Of course, the BOGO is not good for any smartphone that is currently on the AT&T lineup, and only applies to the most popular models that they’re currently offering.
Naturally, this includes the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, as well as the Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, the Galaxy Note 5, the LG G5, and the LG V10. Just like other past BOGO offers, customers have to purchase a second device from the same manufacturer as the first, so that means buying an LG G5 as the first phone would be eligible for a free LG G5 or LG V10, but no mixing and matching with one LG device and one Samsung device.
If customers purchase two Samsung Galaxy smartphones of the ones that are included in the BOGO promo, AT&T is also giving away a free Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch. Additionally, AT&T is throwing in the Samsung Gear S2 Classic for $49.99 when you purchase two Galaxy smartphone on the promo, so customers can choose either or, although it is worth mentioning that the Gear S2 Classic requires a 2-year agreement. For those that are leaning towards an LG device combo for the promotion, AT&T hasn’t left them out of the mix. Customers who purchase an LG G5 or LG V10 on the BOGO will qualify for a free LG G Pad X 10.1 when it’s attached to a 2-year plan. Other details of note are that the first phone can be purchased as either an upgrade or a new line, but the second phone has to be for a newly activated line of service. AT&T notes that the BOGO offer is valid until August 31st, so there is still some time to decide on a device, or whether you even want to take advantage of the promotion in the first place.
