While the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 isn’t due to be announced until August 2nd, that hasn’t kept the rumor mill quite. There’s been quite a few rumors surfacing already about the unannounced handset, and now it looks like the wallpapers for the device have also leaked out. When it comes to flagship smartphones, manufacturers typically load them up with a handful of wallpapers that you won’t see on any other smartphone. And that is the case here. Luckily, you are able to download these and toss them onto whatever smartphone or even tablet, you’re currently rocking.
The wallpapers for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 aren’t anything that’s all that special, in fact a few of them we’ve seen on the leaked press renders of the Galaxy Note 7 already – so those may look a bit familiar. It’s interesting to see that while Samsung has still kept these wallpapers pretty colorful, they aren’t as flashy as some of their wallpapers found on older devices. Much like Touchwiz, it looks like the wallpapers have also been toned down. Those of you looking to grab these wallpapers and toss them onto your smartphone, there is a download link down below, which is a zip file with all of the wallpapers included. The resolution of these wallpapers are a bit odd, but that doesn’t mean that the resolution of the Galaxy Note 7 will be. So don’t take that as a hint as to what resolution the Galaxy Note 7’s display will be when it’s finally unveiled.
When it comes to the Galaxy Note 7, there are plenty of spec sheets running around out there. However, the most likely set of specs appear to include a 5.8-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 or the Exynos 8893 depending on the market, paired with 6GB of RAM and at least 32GB of storage. There have been leaks and rumors showing that there is a 64GB and a 128GB variant floating around as well. But the likelihood of those coming to the US and most other markets, are pretty slim. The Galaxy Note 7 will of course sport a 3500mAh battery with a 12-megapixel camera around back, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
