It's Official, The OnePlus 3 Now Costs £329 In The UK

The OnePlus 3 has been announced last month. This metal-clad smartphone is actually OnePlus’ third flagship, and according to many people, it’s by far their best one handset thus far. Unlike its predecessors, this smartphone is made out of metal, and on top of that, it comes with very few trade-offs, while it ships with premium specs all around. Now, the best thing of all, you can get it for around $399, this is its price in the U.S., and prices elsewhere are comparable to it.

Now, you’re probably already familiar with the term ‘Brexit’, which is used to symbolize the fact that UK left EU, and not that surprisingly, that affected the mobile industry as well. Now, taking OnePlus as an example, the company did announce recently that the OnePlus 3’s price will jump in the UK from £309 to £329, and that’s exactly what happened today. After it was published that the UK is leaving EU, Pound took a dive in the market, which essentially forced OnePlus to raise the price of the phone in the UK, at least that’s what the company says. Now, the price for the rest of Europe stays the same, you can still purchase the OnePlus 3 for €399 in Europe, Euro is not used to represent OnePlus 3’s pricing in some countries though (Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic), but the price remained the same over there as well. As a reminder, you do not need an invite to purchase OnePlus’ flagship this time around, it is available to pretty much everyone who wants to buy it, presuming the company ships to your country, of course.

The OnePlus 3 features a 5.5-inch fullHD Optic AMOLED display, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of non-expandable native storage. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core chip which ships with the Adreno 530 GPU. On the back of the phone you’ll find a 16-megapixel OIS camera, and on its front side lays an 8-megapixel shooter. The 3,000mAH battery is also a part of this package, and it is not removable, in case you were wondering. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the OnePlus 3, and on top of it, you’ll be able to find the company’s OxygenOS UI.
