Last week, Nest announced their first new product since Google acquired them. And that was the Outdoor Security Camera. Some may say it’s not really new, since it’s just an extension of the Nest Cam which was rebranded from the purchase of Dropcam. But it’s still a new product. Unlike the regular Nest Cam, this version will work outdoors, which means the elements won’t affect it. Whether you live in the north, where there’s plenty of snow, or in the south where there’s rain, the Nest Cam Outdoor Security Camera can handle it all. Making it a great camera to keep an eye on your house from the outside.
This new camera will live stream video 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week. It has a 130-degree wide-angle view, allowing you to get a good look as to what’s going on outside your house. The video is done in 1080p, and is still usable at night, where most cameras all but usable. This is thanks to the 8 infrared LEDs, making Night Vision a possibility here. Just like with the regular Nest Cam, this version will give you alerts on your phone, so you’ll know when someone walks up to your front door, or wherever you have the Nest Cam Outdoor Security Camera posted.
Nest Cam Outdoor Security Camera is up for pre-order right now over on Amazon. It costs the same price as the standard Nest Cam, making it a pretty good deal, considering the fact that this one is weatherproof (including the cable and adapter), as well as having night vision. The Nest Cam Outdoor Security Camera isn’t due to launch until the end of September, however. So if you do pre-order it, you won’t be charged until it ships. Amazon lists it as shipping on September 29th, 2016. The Nest Cam Outdoor Security Camera will cost you just $199. It’s a great camera to place outside your front door. This way you can see who’s at the door without them even knowing that your home. You can pick up the Nest Cam Outdoor Security Camera using the link down below.
