Tidal Adds Support For Google Cast Products

With the many different options out there for music streaming, it might feel like an impossible task to settle on one that ends up a perfect fit for your personal needs. That is, unless you’re an audiophile and want something that will probably offer you the best quality audio. In that case, you might choose Tidal, as it offers a lossless audio package for $20 a month. If you’re thinking of using Tidal or are an existing Tidal user, then the app is now offering you something else that adds a little bit of allure. It has just added support for Chromecast and Google Cast so you can stream the music from its application to Google Cast-enabled devices.

Since this is support for Google Cast, it isn’t just allowing users to stream to the Chromecast, rather the whole collection of devices which have Google Cast technology built-in, which includes the Chromecast, but it also includes the Chromecast Audio, a number of TVs that have Google Cast integration, Android TV devices, TVs with Android TV integration, and Google Cast-powered speakers. If you’re a Tidal user who has a particularly high-quality audio system in the home that has Google Cast built in, like Bang & Olufsen’s BeoPlay units, then this is surely going to make the Tidal user experience better.

The new support for Google Cast technology is part of the latest update to the Tidal application, which is hitting both the apps on the Play Store as well as the App Store on iOS, so no matter your device choice, you’ll have the option to stream to a Google Cast product. Google Cast support is not the only change with this app update, as it also includes improvements to the Play Queue, and of course, there’s bug fixes, as this is something which generally appears in any update for roughly any application. If you haven’t checked out Tidal yet, you can set up a free trial for either version of the streaming music service, whether that’s the $9.99 HD music option or the option with lossless audio which costs the $20 as mentioned above. You can pick up Tidal by hitting the Play Store button below.
