Alto's Adventure Now Available On Android TV For $3.99

One of the clear benefits of Android TV is gaming and no one knows that better than NVIDIA SHIELD Android TV owners. If you do happen to own an NVIDIA SHIELD, then a new game becoming available is nothing new to you. After all, NVIDIA has made gaming an integral part of their Android TV user experience and in addition to all the games that any other Android TV device has access to, the SHIELD also gets routine SHIELD-exclusive games coming through, as well as having access to more PC and console-like titles through its GeForce NOW subscription service.

That said, if you do happen to own any of the other Android TV options like the various TVs which come with Android TV included or the likes of the Nexus Player, than a new game becoming available for your device is much bigger news. Which is the case today. Although, this is not exactly a new game becoming available but instead is an already-available Android game becoming available for Android TV. Alto’s Adventure first came to Android back in February of this year. However, at the time of launch, this was not a game you could play on your Android TV device. That has now changed though with the company having now made available ‘Alto’s Adventure TV’. Generally speaking, this does seem to be exactly the same game with the most notable difference being that this version includes support for Android TV controllers. Although, due to the game’s rather simplistic style of gameplay, if you make use of an Android TV device without a dedicated game controller, you are unlikely to find it too taxing to make use of the remote control.

What is interesting though, is that while the mobile version of the game is a free to download title, the Android TV version is not. This one will currently set you back $3.99 to download. Which is not too bad compared to some of the more recent Android TV games that have come through, although this one is unlikely to provide you anywhere near the level or intensity of gameplay which will be on offer with those more expensive titles. Either way, if you are interested in giving Alto’s Adventure a try on your Android TV device, you can download the game by heading through the link below.
