The Bluboo Maya Max is the latest device to come from Bluboo and follows on from the competitively-priced and powerful Bluboo Maya. As well as seeing a bump in a number of the specs, the Bluboo Maya Max still remains an affordable smartphone as it is priced at only $179.99. Although, it is currently even more affordable at the moment as during the opening days (August 17 to August 20) of the pre-order phase (August 17 to August 31), Bluboo is taking orders for the Maya Max for $139.99. The reduced price did begin yesterday and only remains in effect until August 20 before the price goes up to $159.99 for the remainder of the pre-order period, before finally going on general sale at the standard $179.99 price. Regardless of which price point you do order at, the Bluboo Maya Max is expected to begin shipping in early September.
If you are not familiar with the Bluboo Maya Max, this is a smartphone which comes packing a 6.0-inch HD JDI display. Inside, the Maya Max comes equipped with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and is powered by a Mediatek (MT6750) octa-core processor (clocking at 1.5 GHz). Additional features on offer include a 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, a fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C connectivity, 4G LTE support, a 4,200 mAh battery and Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box.
So this is a pretty good spec phone for the money. The problem is though, there are quite a few good phones available at a similar price point and from a range of manufacturers.
