Fallout Shelter Receives New Quests/Content In 1.7 Update

Fallout Shelter is receiving an update today that introduces some new and exciting content, including the presence of Bottle and Cappy, the mascots for the upcoming Nuka-World addon that’s slated to hit Fallout 4 for PC and consoles on August 30th. Aside from the new addon hitting other platforms, Nuka-World is making a debut in Fallout Shelter as well, with a special Nuka-World themed mission that can be completed by players. This will be the first special Event Quest introduced to the game and will result in Bottle and Cappy showing up in player vaults from time to time after completing the mission. Players will want to take advantage of these appearances, as tapping on Bottle and Cappy will reward players with caps and Nuka-Cola Quantum.

The extra Nuka-Cola Quantum will come in handy as the 1.7 update to Fallout Shelter allows players to skip quests using this item if they either don’t have the time to complete them or simply want to fast track things a little bit, making it beneficial to have as much Nuka-Cola Quantum stocked up as possible. Those who like to partake in every single quest that they can will appreciate the inclusion of new quests and quest types that will be accessible following the update of the game, which includes sending your dwellers out into the wasteland for combat excursions and exploration excursions.

When it comes to types of quests, Bethesda is adding the special event quests into Fallout Shelter, the first of which is the Nuka-World themed mission that was mentioned earlier. There will also be weekly quests to look out for as well as holiday quests to complete, providing plenty of new content for players of the game to enjoy on a weekly basis alongside the more limited seasonal missions that will pop up throughout the year. Weekly quests will show up for players every single Friday, while the Holiday quests should be expected to show up for major holidays, although no specific holidays were mentioned. In addition to new quests and quest types, Fallout Shelter will no also afford players new ways to earn resources by giving their Vault dwellers new tasks and objectives to complete. The update to the game should already be live in the Play Store.
