Get $300 Off The Galaxy Note 7 With Trade-in At Verizon

If you’re in the market for a new smartphone, Verizon has a new trade-in option that may be worth checking out. Now, new and existing customers that trade in a qualifying smartphone will get up to $300 toward the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy Note 7, Galaxy S7 or Moto Z. While customers have previously had the option to trade in an old device toward the purchase of a new one, these 3 smartphones are new additions to the list of devices that can be chosen as upgrade options.

In order to take advantage of this offer, you’ll need to trade in an eligible device. This means it will have to be one of the following: Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+, HTC M9, iPhone 6, LG G4 or LG V10. Although you can get up to $300, the amount that you will be rewarded will vary based on the model of the device you are turning in and its condition. The device has to be fully functional and in reasonably good physical condition, though Verizon will accept devices with cracked displays. Upon trading in the device users will have their choice of The Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Note 7, Moto Z Droid, or Moto Z Force Droid. Customers will have to agree to a mobile payment plan on the replacement device, and will either receive a credit on their bill in the amount of the trade-in value if they are already Verizon customers or receive an electronic gift card within two weeks if they are switching to Verizon from another service.

Although this offer is available to both new and existing customers, the wording on Verizon’s promotion page seems to target T-Mobile customers specifically, stating that they will pay up to $300 “to help you switch from T-Mobile”. Verizon remains the number one mobile carrier in the U.S., but over the past few years T-Mobile has seen impressive growth due to their Un-carrier campaign and the great values they offer customers in comparison to many other carriers. Verizon appears to understand this, and they are doing what they can to ensure their service remains appealing to customers among fierce competition.
