Despite the fact LG is no longer at the very top of the food chain as far as smartphone sales and market share go, this is still one of the largest tech companies in the world, and they do have a lot to offer. LG had introduced a number of devices this year, including their LG G5 flagship, and a number of ‘X’ series devices. LG had unveiled the X style, X power, X mach, X max, X5 and X Skin smartphones thus far this year, and it seems like yet another member of the ‘X’ line of smartphones is going to be announced soon, read on.

According to a new rumor, LG plans to release the LG X Fast smartphone in next couple of weeks. This smartphone will, allegedly, sport a metallic frame, while its body will be made out of polycarbonate (plastic). The phone is rumored to sport a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) panel, while it will also pack in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core SoC is said to fuel this smartphone, the same SoC that was included in both the LG G4 and LG V10. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on this device, if this rumor is to be believed, and on top of it, you’ll be able to find LG’s custom UI. The 12.3-megapixel camera (PDAF) will be placed on the back of this smartphone, while an 8-megapixel snapper will be available up front. This will be a dual-SIM handset, and 4G LTE will, of course, going to be included in this package, as will the 3,000mAh removable battery. The LG X Fast, will allegedly, measure 149.1 x 76.5 x 8.9mm, while the phone weighs 159 grams.

If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see the alleged LG X Fast smartphone in the flesh. LG has, once again, opted for rear-facing physical keys, both the power / lock button and volume rocker keys will be placed there. The LED flash is also quite visible in the provided image, and as you can see, the phone’s speaker will be placed on the back of this phone (lower left portion of it). It is also worth mentioning that the company plans to introduce the LG V20 on September 6th, so stay tuned for that as well.
