Ride a Rollercoaster in Virtual Reality with 'Coastiality VR"

Virtual Reality has become a pretty hot topic as of late, thanks to companies like Oculus, Samsung and even Google. There are many virtual reality headsets out there on the market right now. Some are fairly cheap, like Cardboard. While others can set you back a few hundred, like the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive. If you’re just looking to get your feet wet with virtual reality, picking up Google Cardboard is a good idea, as it is usually under $20, and it uses your phone to deliver that content. Which means there are plenty of apps available for you to use in 360-degrees. Like this one here, Coastiality VR.

This app is basically a way for you to enjoy riding a real rollercoaster without leaving your couch, or even putting on clothes. It’s pretty fun, and it is compatible with Google Cardboard. The app’s developer says that Coastiality comes with all sorts of rides that are available at theme parks around the world. Allowing you to visit some of the best rollercoasters in the world without having to visit that particular theme park. Coastiality provides some pretty high quality virtual reality experiences for everyone. If you don’t have Google Cardboard, you can still use the app, as it is viewable without a VR headset. But of course, you’ll have a better experience with a VR headset like Cardboard. This should also work with Samsung’s Gear VR.

Coastiality VR is a pretty simple app. There’s not much to it, other than riding rollercoasters in 360-degrees, which in itself is pretty sweet. It currently has 66 5-star reviews, so it’s a pretty good app, and is pretty small in size as well. Weighing in at just 33MB. Additionally, it supports Android 4.4 and higher, which is the majority of Android users out there right now. There are no in-app purchases for Coastiality VR right now, so it is a completely free app, which is always nice to see. It’s a rather new app, with less than 10,000 downloads, but definitely worth checking out. You can pick up Coastiality VR for free from the Google Play Store today using the link down below.
