Rumor: T-Mobile LG V20 Pre-Orders Begin Sep. 14th

LG’s upcoming smartphone, the recently confirmed V20, is rumored to be allowing pre-orders starting on September 14th according to a user on Reddit. LG has confirmed that they will be announcing the V20 in the beginning of next month, so it seems quite plausible that the company would begin pre-orders for the device not long after. If pre-orders of the device do go live on September 14th, it’s worth mentioning that the Redditer has posted this rumored date on the T-Mobile Android sub reddit, so there’s the suggestion, that the LG V20 will be going live for pre-order on T-Mobile’s network, and not necessarily any other networks at that time.

With all of that being said, it’s also entirely possible that September 14th could be the pre-order dates for any carrier who is going to be selling the phone, and it’s likely that LG as well as carriers will be officially forthcoming with such details once the phone has been unveiled at LG’s upcoming event in the beginning of next month. In addition to the rumored pre-order date, the LG V20 is also stated as coming with three different pre-order bonuses for T-Mobile subscribers who decide to pick up the device before the official launch.

The first of those pre-order bonuses is listed as a bonus hand grip for the device likely to be used in conjunction with snapping photos, as well as an additional battery for the device. The second bonus for those who pre-order the phone on T-Mobile will be a memory module attachment, which suggests the V20 will be supporting the modular build setup similar to the LG G5. The third and last pre-order bonus is going to be a 1-year subscription to Hulu and three free movie rentals from Vudu. Although the LG V20’s official design has not yet been made public, a leak of the device from a few days ago suggests that it carries a similar body design to the LG G5, and LG confirmed that they would be integrating the V20 with a 32-Bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC to deliver a superior audio experience to buyers.
