The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Comes To Bell August 19th

Bell has officially announced their pricing and availability of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 today following the announcement of the device at Samsung’s Unpacked event this morning New York. The phone will be available in Black Onyx, Blue Coral, and Silver Titanium, and will be available to Bell customers either on a two-year term or with no term, which means customers will be able to purchase the device either with or without a contract depending on what suits them best. While the device is available at $849 here in the U.S., Canadians on Bell’s network will be looking at $1049.99 for the Galaxy Note 7 with no term contract, while signing up for a two-year agreement can save them some money as the Galaxy Note 7 will only cost $549.99 on the two-year term, although it is worth noting that subscribers will need to be on at least an $85 a month plan for this cost.

In addition to grabbing the Galaxy Note 7, customers who do choose to pick it up will end up getting some freebies, as Bell is running a promotion for Galaxy Note 7 buyers that will see them getting to pick either a Gear Fit2 or a Samsung Level Box Pro wireless speaker to take home at no extra charge. This is also listed as a limited time promotion so those who want to take advantage of it will want to move fast.

While both the pricing offers on the Galaxy Note 7 may be a little higher than some were hoping for, Bell will be offering subscribers the chance to save a little money by trading in an old smartphone which will bring the price down by $200. Bell does mention that the trade-in offer will only be available to those who buy the phone in a retail store as this will not be compatible with online purchases. They also offer no information on which devices will be acceptable for the trade-in, but they do state that the $200 off comes back to the customer in the form of a rebate, and is not taken off the price at checkout. Lastly, Bell will be selling the Gear VR at a promotional price of $49.99 for Galaxy Note 7 buyers as well, so subscribers of the carrier will be able to reap quite a few rewards for buying Samsung’s latest device. The phone will be available in store on August 19th, while it appears to be available for pre-order now on the website.
