One of the main selling points of Chromebooks is that they are designed to be highly-affordable and yet good-performing devices. This in essence makes them ideal for the education sector and is likely why they have seen fairly big growth in that sector in recent times. While all Chromebooks offer value to students and educational institutes, there are some companies who seem to specialize in Chromebooks for education. One of those companies is CTL.
Speaking of which it now looks as though CTL has two new Chromebooks available for those in the education sector. The new models are the CTL NL61T Chromebook and the CTL NLS61TX Chromebook. Generally speaking both Chromebooks are fairly similar as they both come loaded with an 11.6-inch display and make use of a 1366 x 768 resolution. As well as 4GB RAM, 32GB SSD and are both powered by an Intel Celeron (N3160) processor. That is, as well as the various other aspects you would expect including SD card support, USB ports and so on. If you are wondering what the difference is between the two, well there are a few. Firstly, the price, as the CLT NLS61TX Chromebook is priced at $299.99, while the CTL NL61T Chromebook is priced slightly cheaper at $269.99.
Another notable difference is that the CTL NLS61TX Chromebook is designed to be even more rugged than other Chromebooks, including the CTL NL61T Chromebook. This is achieved by the CTL NLS61TX Chromebook coming equipped with a pressure-resistant cover which is designed to ensure it can withstand both damage and pressure. According to CTL, this means that the NLS61TX Chromebook “is 90% less likely to break due to force from the top” and that the durability has been “tested to withstand 365 pounds of pressure”, without incurring any damage. If you need another reason to differentiate between the two, it also seems as though the other side of the cover on the CTL NLS61TX Chromebook doubles as a whiteboard. You can check out the NLS61TX and its whiteboard capabilities in closer detail by watching the new promotion video below or head through the source link to find out more about both of the latest Chromebooks on offer from CTL.
