Clash Royale Update Adds New Challenges, Chests, And More

Supercell is one of the most popular Android game developers out there. This company had introduced a game called Clash of Clans, which has been one of the most popular games on Android since it was released. Aside from Clash of Clans, they’ve introduced three additional games, Hay Day, Boom Beach and Clash Royale, all of which are quite successful. The Clash Royale game had been released back in March this year (for Android), and the developer had updated the game a number of times thus far. Well, one such update has just landed, and quite a few new features have been added, read on.

This new update brings some interesting features, the company has added the new tournament mode (including two new Challenges modes) and new Chests (Legendary Chest and Epic Chest). The company has also announced that four new cards will be released every two weeks starting from tomorrow. Now, let’s talk more about tournament modes, shall we? You need 12 wins in order to unlock the top prize in the Challenges mode, and if you lose 3 times, you’re out. The Classic Challenge requires you to present 10 Gems to enter, while 2,000 Gold is the top prize, while you’ll also get 100 cards if you win. The Grand Challenge is the big one, you’ll need 100 Gems to enter, while you’ll get 22,000 and 1,100 cards if you win. The company has also revamped current tournament modes, which you’ll notice the moment you fire up the game and start clicking menus. In addition to new cards every two weeks, the company has introduced the Mega Minion card which will be available starting September 20th.

The Legendary Chest contains a Legendary Card from any arena, and you can win it in battle. The Epic Chest, on the other hand, contains only Epic Card, and you can win those from battle and they appear in the shop. In addition to these new features, the company has also introduced ‘Rethinking Emotes’, which essentially means you can mute your opponents in every battle. You can now unlock achievements in Tournament Challenges, etc. This truly is a huge update of Clash Royale, so if you’re still playing this game, you certainly have plenty of reasons to update as soon as possible.
