LeEco is one of the most interesting China-based smartphone manufacturers. This company has been around for a long time, though they did not enter the mobile phone business until April last year. LeEco had introduced quite a few devices thus far, and yesterday the company released their most powerful device to date, the LeEco Le Pro 3. Now, this phone is incredibly affordable considering what it has to offer, the highest-end model LeEco introduced comes with the Snapdragon 821 SoC and 6GB of RAM, while it costs only 1,999 Yuan ($299). That being said, not even 24 hours after its release, we already have the first LeEco Le Pro 3 teardown to share with you read on.
The LeEco Le Pro 3 might look really sleek with its all-metal body and everything, but what if it breaks? What if you need to open it up for some reason and repair it, or take it to an unauthorized shop to do so, how difficult will that procedure be? Well, luckily for its customers, LeEco put a lot of thought into this it seems, as the LeEco Le Pro 3 is really not all that difficult to repair. The folks over at IT168, which is a Chinese site which usually gets to dismantle Chinese devices first, managed to get it opened and dismantle it without significant issues. Now, do keep in mind that this might not be the easiest device to pull apart, as it does not have a plastic back you can simply snap off, but it’s far easier to open and dismantle than most other metal-clad devices out there. Now, LeEco had introduced two Le Pro 3 models yesterday, the 4GB RAM variant with 32GB of storage, and the 6GB RAM model with 64GB of internal storage. Both of these phones are fueled by the Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core SoC which ships with the Adreno 530 GPU, while the LeEco Le Pro 3 sports a 5.5-inch fullHD display. The 4,070mAh battery is also included here, and it supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. The 16-megapixel shooter is placed on the back of this phone, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the Le Pro 3, along with the company’s EUI 5.8.
