The LG V10 was one of the most interesting smartphones of 2015. This smartphone has been introduced a year ago, and it sported a really nice design, sturdy build, and two displays. The main panel on this phone was 5.7-inches big, while a 2.1-inch secondary panel was placed above it. The LG V10 was the first smartphone in LG’s new line, and the company’s second-gen device has been leaking like crazy for the last couple of weeks. Well, the company has just introduced this smartphone, and we’ve already covered its main announcement. That being said, we’re here to talk about LG V20’s specifications, read on.
The LG V20 is a really interesting smartphone, it is made out of metal, and yet its back cover is removable, and you can also replace the phone’s battery if you choose to do so, which is something many people will probably appreciate. The LG V20 features a 5.7-inch QHD (2560 x 1440, 513 PPI) display, and a secondary panel (1040 x 160, 513 PPI) which is placed above it. The secondary display on the V20 is significantly brighter than the one on the V10, LG upped its brightness from 35 to 68 nits. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core processor which is clocked at 2.15GHz fuels this smartphone, along with the Adreno 530 GPU. This phablet ships with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.0 internal storage. Do keep in mind that you can expand its internal storage via a microSD card (up to 2TB).
You’ll find two camera sensors on the back of the LG V20, the 16-megapixel OIS camera (f/1.8 aperture) is placed on the back of this device, alongside the 8-megapixel snapper (f/2.4 aperture, wide-angle lens). LG has included Steady Record 2.0, Hybrid Autofocus and Track Focus features here, in order to help you get the cleanest images and video output. As far as V20’s front-facing shooter is concerned, LG has included a 5-megapixel sensor (f/1.9 aperture, wide-angle lens). The 3,200mAh battery (Quick Charge 3.0 included) can be found on the inside of the LG V20, and as already mentioned, it is removable. The LG V20 also comes with the HD Audio Recorder feature, and offers Clear Sound through Quad DACs. Android 7.0 Nougat comes pre-installed here with LG’s custom UI (LG UX 5.0) on top of it, while the device also ships with Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi (a/b/g/n/ac) and NFC. The LG V20 measures 159.7 x 78.1 x 7.6mm, while it weighs 177 grams.
