Zopo Color C, Color E and Color S5.5 Get Android 6.0 Marshmallow
Zopo’s affordable line of devices, Color, has started getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow. In case you’re interested in getting this update, you can now download it from Zopo’s website and install it on your phone via your PC. As far as update itself is concerned, you’ll be getting the regular Android 6.0 Marshmallow features, such as Doze, for example, as Zopo’s Android offering is almost stock, there are some features included by the company, but the skin is quite light.
TIM & Samsung Unveil Gear S2 Classic 3G In Italy, Embedded SIM (eSIM) Included
TIM, a telecom company, and Samsung have partnered up in order to launch the Gear S2 Classic 3G smartwatch in Italy. This watch is quite interesting because it sports an integrated SIM card, eSIM. Smartwatch can, of course, function without a phone, and it costs €399.90 ($448) in Italy. You can also purchase it for €49 ($55), and then pay €10 ($11) for 30 months in order to get this watch. The device itself is identical to the original as far as the design and specifications are concerned.
Oukitel Unveils C4 Handset, It Sports 4G LTE And Costs Only $60
The Oukitel C4 is a new budget smartphone from the company. This device costs only $60, and it put 4G LTE on the tablet. The phone sports a 5-inch HD display, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable internal storage. The device is fueled by MediaTek’s MT6737 64-bit quad-core SoC running at 1.3GHz, and a 2,000mAh battery is also included here. The 8-megapixel shooter is placed on the back of this phone, and the device comes in Black Gold and White Gold color variants.
KT Launches YouTube Competitor, A Video Streaming Service Called Dovido
KT held a press conference in South Korea in order to announce Dovido, a YouTube competitor. This service is now available in beta for Android devices, and it seems like Korea’s second largest telecom has some serious plans for Dovido. They also added that they’re aiming to hit the global market with their new service, that it is definitely not Korea-focused, and that the service also includes some e-commerce elements.
LG Unveils LG X Fast & LG X Power In Taiwan
LG has unveiled two new smartphones in Taiwan, the LG X Fast and LG X Power. The X Fast comes with a 5.5-inch QHD display, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 808 SoC, and it costs NT$15,900 ($501) in Taiwan. The LG X Power, on the other hand, features a 5.3-inch 720p display, MT6735 SoC, and a 4,100mAH battery. This phone is priced at NT$5,990 ($189) in the country.
