Radio might not be the most popular source of music these days, but there are tons of radio station and applications that are still quite popular, though most of such apps are so much more than just radio applications. That being said, we’re here to talk about one such app, an app called ‘BBC iPlayer Radio’, which some of you are probably already using. In any case, let’s see what this app has to offer, shall we.
Now, those of you who live in the UK have probably heard of this application already. This app essentially lets you listen to the BCC Radio wherever you are. Well, this app is not available only in Britain, you can download and use it wherever you are, in case you’re interesting, of course. There are tons of radio programs available here, and in case podcasts are your thing, well, those are available here as well, and you can download them in case you’d like to listen to those while you’re offline, which is always a useful feature. Curated content is also included here, so you can basically listen to BBC Radio’s highlights and all sorts of curated collections if you want. In addition to all this, the app also lets you view daily schedules and categories, while you can also discover various audio and video content. Now, believe it or not, the BBC iPlayer Radio app also comes with a built-in alarm clock and night mode, just in case you’d like to use it for such purposes as well. Do keep in mind that you do need an internet connection to access content on this app, unless you download something and listen to it later on, like Podcasts we’ve mentioned earlier.
Now, as far as the design is concerned, this app looks really nice, though it does not follow Google’s Material Design guidelines, at all. Still, the app’s UI looks really nice, and it’s fairly easy to navigate. This app currently holds a 4.6-star rating in the Google Play Store, and seems to be working really well.
