Concept Renders Of The HTC 11 Show Up Online

A few week backs, the folks over at Tech Configurations offered up a second look at the purported HTC Ocean with concept images. In the concept design, the device comes without a volume rocker or a power button, it didn’t even sport any sort of navigation buttons, and gestures would likely be used for navigation on the three variants of the device. Now, the same website which brought the HTC Ocean concept to live, has now released its concept design for the HTC 11. Given that the HTC 10 was only released 6 months ago, it is likely that the HTC 11 will be launched in half a years time.

If you take a look at the HTC 11 concept in the gallery below, the upcoming phone comes with an edge-to-edge design, pretty similar to the ones used by Samsung on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Samsung Galaxy Note 7. It is also something which Xiaomi is expected to make use of in their yet to be released Mi Note 2. Just like the HTC Ocean, the HTC 11 in the concept design comes without any buttons. Instead, the smartphone comes with something called “Contexual Touch Sensitive Frame Technology”, whereby the user can slide up or down on the edge display to increase or decrease the volume respectively. This concept also sports a waterproof design, something which is fast becoming a norm in current flagships, including in Samsung’s flagship smartphones and it is expected to be a feature of most upcoming flagship smartphones.
The concept also packs a 12-megapixel and an 8-megapixel dual camera setup at its rear, while an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera is featured on the front. It comes with a 5.5 QHD display and front facing stereo speakers. Under the hood it packs the yet to be announced Snapdragon 830 System-on-Chip and also 6GB of RAM. On top of that, the concept HTC 11 smartphone comes with fast wireless charging and a USB Type C port at the bottom of the device. The concept design looks rather pleasing, and if the final design and specs ends up anything like this, this device would definitely be something to look forward to.
