There has been quite a lot of talk lately surrounding Samsung’s 2016 Galaxy smartphones. Of course, when it comes to the Galaxy Note 7 much of the talk has been fairly negative due to the device seemingly suffering from a safety issue, which following two recalls resulted in the smartphone being pulled from the market altogether. In contrast, the Galaxy S7 and its ‘edge’ counterpart, the Galaxy S7 Edge, have proven to be two of the most popular smartphones of this year and following the Galaxy Note 7 pulling, the Galaxy S7 Edge now adopts the position of Samsung’s major flagship for the second half of 2016.
That said, if you are planning on picking up a Galaxy S7 Edge during the next few months, then it seems you will have a new color to pick from. Over the past few weeks it had been highly rumored that Samsung was planning on releasing a Blue Coral version of the Galaxy S7 Edge and that is exactly what Samsung has now finally confirmed.
Samsung has announced that the Blue Coral Galaxy S7 Edge will be available to buy in the US. Samsung has yet to provide firm details on when exactly it will become available, although the announcement from Samsung does confirm that it will be available in select markets starting from tomorrow, November 1. Unfortunately, those select markets were not further explained with Samsung stating that market-relative announcements will be made confirming exact dates in due course. So if you have had your eye on the Blue Coral version, it is coming to stores and carriers soon. Either way and besides the actual color difference, this is the standard Galaxy S7 Edge so you can expect to find all the major selling points on offer with the Blue Coral version. Including a 5.5-inch display, 4GB RAM, the Snapdragon 820 processor and of course, those two sloping edges along with the Edge UX features and design. Those interested in taking a closer look at the Galaxy S7 Edge in Blue Coral, can check out the latest press images of the new color which have just been released by Samsung.
