The Google Assistant was first announced at Google I/O 2016 which took place back in May. The Google Assistant happens to be Google’s take at artificial intelligence (AI) that can help its consumers in numerous ways. When Google Allo was launched a month or so ago, Google’s Assistant came along with it. You could activate the personal assistant by typing “@google”, and your request, where it will reply within moments of sending your request. One thing great about it is that you can request for a game, and by doing so, Google Assistant would give you four categories of games, which are, Chat Games, Quiz Games, Doodle Games, and Classic Games. Tapping on any of the four categories will prompt the AI to respond with “Ok, which one?”, and expanding the selected category, to reveal multiple game choices.
While these games are great to be played while you’re bored, they can only be played via the Allo app. At least that is what everyone thought, until a user on Reddit with the handle sagingle, discovered that these games can be played on a browser, and not just on Google Chrome, but any web browser will do just fine. In order to play the Google Assistant games on a web browser, all you have to do is open Google Allo, and request for games. When the four categories are shown, select your desired category. Next, turn off your network connection, be it Wi-Fi or mobile data, and select your preferred game. Once this is done, a web page will pop up, stating that there is no internet connection and a website URL will also be shown beneath it in bold. Grab the URL from there and open it in any browser, and just like that, you will be able to play games on your mobile device, or even on your PC.
