Huawei is all about to ready to unleash its latest smartphone, the Huawei Mate 9. Or at least, that is what is largely expected to be unveiled at an event which the company has scheduled for later this week. With a new device expected to come from the company, it has not been that surprising to see a number of leaks coming through recently on what to expect from this latest smartphone, although earlier today, saw one of the most comprehensive leaks so far coming through.
That leak included real-life images of the Huawei Mate 9 along with a fairly detailed pre-order page listing which provided a fairly substantial amount of details on the actual specs of the handset. However, on closer inspection of that pre-order page listing, the supposed real-life images of the Mate 9 do not exactly marry up with the render shown off in the listing. Enter, this latest image. Now a new image of the Mate 9 has surfaced and this one does indeed seem to marry up with the listing image much better. For an example of this, check out the front-facing camera placement on the previous images and compare them (and the picture above) to that of the pre-order listing render. As such, it does seem more likely that this new image (although not as clear as the previous images) is likely to be a real image of the Mate 9.
Either way and going back to the pre-order listing, if the details are correct then most of the specs for the Mate 9 are already known. According to that information, the Mate 9 will come packing a substantially-sized 5.9-inch display which makes use of a 2560 x 1440 (QHD) resolution. Inside, the RAM is equally as large with 6GB included, while the internal storage is said to be 256GB. In terms of the processor, the Mate 9 is listed to come powered by the 64-bit Kirin 960 octa-core processor. While cameras on offer consist of dual rear cameras that include a 20-megapixel sensor along with a 12-megapixel sensor. Last but not least, the Mate 9 looks as though it will come running on Android 7.0 (Nougat) out of the box.
