LeEco is a China-based tech company which started manufacturing smartphones back in April last year. LeEco managed to become a force to be reckoned with in China, and the company had decided to expand their horizons quite recently. LeEco had introduced two of their smartphones in the US quite recently, along with a couple of their smart TVs. The LeEco Le S3 and Le Pro 3 were introduced in the US, and the latter smartphone is the latest and greatest this company has to offer. Now, LeEco is quite serious when it comes to the US market, as their flagship costs only $399, well, $299 if you pre-order it, which is staggering considering how powerful this smartphone is.
That being said, the dust has not settled down yet from the company’s last press conference, and it seems like LeEco is already planning their next move in the US. A new LeEco-branded smartphone has just surfaced in China, and it seems like we’re looking at the LeEco Dual3 here. Now, according to some reports, this smartphone is expected to land in the US at some point, though chances are it will launch in China before that. This smartphone will sport two camera sensors on the back, as you can clearly see in the provided images, and it will, allegedly, launch before the end of this year. We still do not know what specifications to expect out of this smartphone, but based on the provided images, this will be yet another well-built smartphone by LeEco, made out of metal. Its fingerprint scanner will be placed on the back, and above it, you’ll notice the dual camera setup, and a dual-LED flash as well. The company’s branding is quite visible on the back as well, and the phone’s physical keys will be placed on the right.
The LeEco Pro 3 is the company’s current flagship, as already mentioned. It sports a 5.5-inch display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. In addition to that, the phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core SoC. This is the most powerful smartphone the company had introduced thus far, and a 6GB RAM variant is also available in China, though it did not arrive to the US, at least not thus far. We’ll probably see a ton of info about the LeEco Dual3 before the company introduces it, and chances are this phone is quite powerful as well, we’re guessing that this will be yet another high-end offering by LeEco, but we’ll see what happens.
