The LG V20 was launched back in September and now it’s available for pre-order in the US from pretty much every carrier, AT&T had already started accepting pre-orders last week, and T-Mobile had also announced that they will be accepting pre-orders for the LG V20 starting today, while Verizon will start selling the device from October 20. What if you want to pick up an unlocked version of the LG V20 though? Well, B&H Photo & Newegg will also be keeping the stock of the unlocked LG V20, if you’re ready to pay the price of an unlocked device, that is. Read on.
The LG V20 unlocked model is currently available for pre-order on both B&H Photo and Newegg at a retail price of $799.99, and will start shipping out on November 11th. To make the deal even sweeter, both retailers are also tossing in a free 7-inch LG G Pad tablet with every LG V20 purchase. As far as specs are concerned, the LG G Pad tablet comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, while it supports WiFi connectivity as well. On top of that, Newegg is also offering an ORICO power bank with the purchase of the LG V20, alongside the free tablet.
The LG V20 is a successor to the LG V10 which was launched last year, and also, it was marketed as the first Android 7.0 Nougat smartphone, just in case you forgot. As a refresher, the LG V20 boasts a 5.7-inch QHD IPS display which works out to a resolution of 2560 × 1440, under the hood, it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core CPU and an Adreno 530 GPU. In the camera department, the device packs dual-camera setup on the back – 16-megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, with PDAF & laser autofocus, while a dual-tone LED flash is also a part of this package. The 5-megapixel snapper is placed on the front side of the device, in case you were wondering. The LG V20 packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, and supports a MicroSD card (up to 256 GB) expansion. The device has a 3,220mAh non-removable battery inside, and comes with USB Type-C port.
