The Meizu PRO 6s has been one of the most leaked smartphones in the last couple of weeks. At first, we thought this could be Meizu’s new flagship smartphone, an alternative for the postponed Meizu PRO 7, but it seems like that won’t be the case, at least if the latest rumors are anything to go by. Yesterday’s leak showed off the alleged Meizu PRO 6s’ Geekbench listing, and today we have some additional leaked images to share with you, and they bring along some additional spec info as well.

If you take a look at the two provided images in the gallery down below, you’ll get to see the Meizu PRO 6s in the flesh, along with some of its specifications. Now, this is clearly the Meizu PRO 6s, as the listing on the display confirms it. In addition to the exact model of the device, the listing reveals this phone will sport a fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, along with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. In addition to that, we’re able to find out that the device will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, and Meizu’s Flyme UI will be installed on top of it. Now, the most interesting piece of info here is the phone’s processor, if this information is to be believed, the Meizu PRO 6s will be fueled by MediaTek’s MT6796 64-bit deca-core processor, along with the Mali-T880. Now, the Helio X10 was MediaTek’s flagship SoC for 2015, and its model number is MT6795. On the other hand, the Helio X20 is MediaTek’s flagship processor for this year, and it carries the MT6797 model number, which means that the MT6796 belongs somewhere in between these two processors, and that indicates that this won’t be Meizu’s new flagship, but a really powerful device nonetheless. The Meizu PRO 6 is fueled by the Helio X25, an even more powerful variant of the Helio X20, and that is the company’s most powerful smartphone to date.

It seems like the Meizu PRO 6s will resemble its predecessors, the mBack physical home key is placed below the display, and the phone is made out of metal it seems. Its side bezels are quite thin, at least it seems that way, which is always good to see. We still don’t know when will the company introduce this phone, but stay tuned, we’ll report back as soon as we get more info.
