Motorola Moto M & Lenovo P2 Could Launch On November 8th

The Motorola Moto M had leaked quite a few times thus far, this is the company’s upcoming mid-range handset. The Moto M handset was certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) quite recently, and a newly-leaked teaser suggests that the phone could launch on November 8th, along with the aforementioned Lenovo P2, also a mid-range device which was already officially announced during IFA in Berlin back in September. Having that in mind, let’s see what these two smartphones will have to offer, shall we.

The Moto M will not sport the 16-pin connectors that the Moto Z, Moto Z Force and Moto Z Play ship with, which essentially means that this device will not be compatible with Moto Mods, at all. The Moto M will sport a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of expandable internal storage. This device will be fueled by the Helio P10 64-bit octa-core processor, along with the Mali-T860 GPU. The 16-megapixel shooter will be located on the back of the Moto M, and an 8-megapixel snapper will be placed on the device’s front side. Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on the Moto M, along with some additions by the company. The 3,000mAh battery will also be a part of this package, and you will be able to charge it up really fast as it will offer fast charging. The fingerprint scanner will be placed on the back of the Moto M, and the device will be made out of metal. This handset is expected to ship in Gold and Silver color options, and is expected to cost 1,999 Yuan ($294).

The Lenovo P2, on the other hand, is also made out of metal, though its fingerprint scanner is located up front, below the display. Speaking of which, the Lenovo P2 features a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) Super AMOLED display. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 625 64-bit octa-core processor running at 2GHz, and the Adreno 506 GPU is here for graphics processing. On the back of this phone you’ll notice the 13-megapixel camera, and on the front side you’ll get a 5-megapixel snapper. The device packs in 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of expandable native storage. This handset comes with a 5,100mAh non-removable battery with fast charging, and a 1.5W speaker is also a part of the package, as is the TI TAS2555 smart amplifier. Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow comes out of the box here, and there are two SIM card slots included here as well.
