Samsung Gear S3 Classic & Frontier Listed On Mobile Fun

Samsung launched the Gear S3 Classic alongside the Gear S3 Frotier at IFA 2016 which took place about a month ago. The Gear S3 Classic is better suited for people who would like a smartwatch which looks more like a conventional watch, while the Gear S3 Frontier comes with a sporty design for individuals with active lifestyles. While both smartwatches are already official, the South Korean company has yet to announce the official pricing of the devices. However, an online retailer has listed the smartwatches on its website which might give us a hint or two regarding its official price.

Online retailer Mobile Fun, has listed the Gear S3 Frontier on its website for pre-order and is selling the smartwatch for $449.99. On top of that, Mobile Fun has also listed the Gear S3 Classic for pre-order and is retailing for the same price as the Gear S3 Frontier, $449.99. However, Samsung has yet to release the official price for both smartwatches, and since the Gear S3 Frontier come with 4G LTE connectivity, it just might cost more than the Gear S3 Classic. The Gear S3 sports a 1.3-inch Super AMOLED display, which is topped with Corning’s Gorilla Glass SR+, specifically designed for smartwatches. Beneath this lies a dual-core CPU clocked at 1.0GHz, with 768MB of RAM backing it up coupled with 4GB of internal storage, and as this is a watch, there’s no sign of expandable storage here.
