Account Syncing Added To AfterShip Package Tracker

The times they are a changing in the way we shop for practically anything with the exception of buying groceries – but even that is starting to develop into a new market. With the advent of online shopping, first from our PCs, then laptops, and now more mobile than ever with our smartphones, the need to go physically to brick and mortar store is becoming less of a necessity. Why fight the traffic and the crowds? Sit at your computer or in your recliner with just your smartphone and shop away. This type of shopping means that to receive your merchandise, it must be delivered to your home or office. There are many companies more than happy to deliver your merchandise to your front door – UPS, FedEx, DHL, and even USPS.

Once your package ships, it is assigned a tracking number to keep tabs on its shipping progress. It is our duty to track its progress – it has become one of our new ‘past times’ that is almost as enjoyable as receiving the package on the day it is “out on the truck for delivery.” You might be wondering if there are apps to help track all of your packages from one spot rather than having to go to the individual UPS or FedEx websites. The answer, of course, is yes, we have apps for that, and one of the better tracking apps is the AfterShip Package Tracker that just became better with the addition a “Data sync” feature that lets you sync between devices via your Google account.

You can ‘Track’ your package from more than 360 couriers, and you can even name the delivery – “Gift for Mom” or leave it as a generic ‘DHL Package.’ One display will allow you to check the latest status delivery status – ‘Delivered’ or ‘Allocated to Delivery Staff.’ You can have AfterShip notify you of delivery updates – ‘Gift for Mom is out for delivery’ or ‘Package from FedEx is in transit.’ You can simply add the tracking number from the courier and AfterShip will ‘Auto-Detect’ the carrier based on the number format. The AfterShip Package Tracker is free, there are no ads, and it offers free push notifications such as ‘In Transit,’ ‘Out for Delivery,’ ‘Failed Attempt’ and more. Now with its new Data Sync feature, AfterShip deserves a second look.
