The unfortunate and unconditional recall of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 did not stop the advance of smartphones that come equipped with a curved display. A trait which you will now find on many smartphones including the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design and the Xiaomi Note 2. In fact, it is also believed that other manufacturers including the likes of LG, HTC, Meizu and OPPO may also be working on dual curved design smartphones.
It is easy to see though why such a design is so popular both among manufacturers and consumers. After all, a curved design is more recognizable compared to smartphones with curved-free screens. Cameras come in the form of a 13-megapixel rear camera which is coupled with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. While additional features include expandable storage (cards up to 256GB supported), a fingerprint sensor, heart rate monitor and Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of box.
