Google’s Pixel and Pixel XL are back in stock at the Google Store, although not in all variants. Right now it looks like there is only new stock of the Pixel 32GB model in Very Silver and Quite Black, as well as the 128GB model in those two colors, and the 32GB model of the Pixel XL in Quite Black. Any other variants are still out of stock at the time of writing, which means those who were hoping to get a Pixel XL with 128GB of internal storage space will still have to wait, unfortunately. The good news is that now with the phone having been out for at least a week, Google may not be far off from getting a steady influx of new devices.
There was availability of the Very Silver model of the Pixel XL in both 32GB and 128GB earlier, but it shouldn’t be too surprising to see that the stock has disappeared again given how popular the phone has been since it launched. To put things into perspective, Google ran out of stock for pre-orders shortly after they were available initially, and even more recently it was discovered that they were giving $50 in Play Store credit to some consumers who were having their Pixel phone orders delayed due to stock issues, which just goes to show that a lot of people are trying to get their hands on the device.
If you’re interested in the Pixel and Pixel XL and you haven’t already purchased one for yourself, it might be beneficial to head to the Google Store and place your order as soon as possible seeing as they could run out fast much like last time. That said, Google still hasn’t restocked the limited edition Really Blue color of the Pixel XL, so if that’s the color you’re shooting for you’ll have to continue waiting to see if Google gets more back in. As the pre-order period for the phone is now over, there will unfortunately not be any more chances, at least it’s not likely, for consumers to grab a free Daydream View headset along with the purchase, but you can pre-order Google’s first Daydream VR headset and it launches as well as begins shipping on November 10th.
