Samsung’s Blue Coral Galaxy S7 Edge is the result of the Galaxy Note 7 not being able to launch with the previously planned color, and while some may have been looking forward to the option, those who prefer the Galaxy S7 Edge are benefiting. The new color for Samsung’s earlier flagship is due to hit AT&T store shelves this Friday on November 18th, but they won’t be the only carrier in the U.S. that will carry the device, if the most recent leak is to be believed. According to a new screenshot of what appears to be a T-Mobile advertisement, perhaps internally, the Uncarrier will also be selling the Blue Coral Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge on November 18th.
This shouldn’t be too much of a surprise, as a leaked image of T-Mobile device stock from earlier this morning shows the Galaxy S7 Edge in Blue Coral as being part of T-Mobile’s inventory. While neither has been confirmed, if the inventory leak was true, it would only stand to reason that T-Mobile would likely begin selling the new color of the Galaxy S7 Edge on the same day as AT&T.
As mentioned before, there is nothing different about this color of the Galaxy S7 Edge and the others that were released earlier this year aside from the color itself. The internal hardware specifications are the same, which means the same size and resolution screen, the same processor, and the same amount of internal storage and expandable storage support, as well as the same cameras. The one thing that could be different other than the color is the price, although it isn’t likely that T-mobile would charge more for a new color of the same phone that has no hardware upgrades. That being said, if the cost is not increasing, then anyone who is a T-Mobile customer and is interested in grabbing this phone for themselves, provided T-Mobile does actually end up selling it, should be able to do so for $789.99 at full retail. Those who don’t want to pay for the full cost up front should be able to split the phone up into payments over their monthly bill and walk out of the store having paid $69.99 down, as this the cost of the Galaxy S7 Edge that is already being sold.
