New Images Show Off Alleged Meizu X & Meizu PRO 7 Handsets

The Meizu PRO 7 is Meizu’s upcoming flagship smartphone. If the company’s vice president is to be believed, it won’t launch until next year, but a number of reports are claiming otherwise. We’ve seen quite a few leaks of this smartphone lately, including the one that surfaced earlier today. The Meizu PRO 7 is expected to arrive in the near future, and so is the company’s mysterious Meizu X smartphone which the company teased the other day. The Meizu X will arrive on November 30th, and today we have some new Meizu X and Meizu PRO 7 leaks for you.

Two new images of the Meizu X surfaced, as well as one new image of the Meizu PRO 7. The back side of the Meizu X seems to be quite similar to all the other smartphones Meizu had introduced recently, though truth be told the quality of these two images is not exactly all that high. We still don’t know whether the phone will be made out of metal or polycarbonate, but if we had to guess, we’d say metal, despite the fact Meizu experimented with polycarbonate quite recently when they introduced the Meizu M5. In addition to this leaked image, the rumor says that the Meizu X will be fueled by the Helio P20 64-bit octa-core SoC. The phone could ship with Flyme 6 out of the box considering the fact that the company teased the arrival of Flyme 6 earlier today, and coincidentally, the teaser highlights November 30th as well, the same day Meizu X is expected to launch.

Now, if you take a look at the third image down below, you’ll get to see the alleged Meizu PRO 7 and its curved display. As you can see, the phone’s display is curved quite a bit, reminiscent of the Galaxy S7 Edge, Elephone S7, Xiaomi Mi Note 2, etc. This handset will probably sport a physical home key below the display, though recent leaks are reporting that it might ship with a capacitive home key. We’re expecting this smartphone to come with top of the line specifications, it was rumored to sport the Exynos 8890 SoC by Samsung, but we’ll see if that will happen or not. In addition to that, you can expect it to utilize 6GB of RAM, and it will probably feature a 5.5-inch display, or perhaps even a larger panel.
