Nokia D1C Leaks In Three Color Variants With A Metal Frame

Nokia is still a very well-known name in the tech world, despite the fact this company is far from what it used to be. Nokia was once the largest cellphone manufacturer in the world, but a series of bad decisions more or less ruined the company which is now split into a couple of pieces and is trying to make a comeback. HMD Global is working on Android-powered Nokia devices, and we can expect them to be released in the coming months, quite possibly in early 2017, but nothing has been set in stone just yet.

That being said, the Nokia D1C smartphone has been leaking for a long time now, the device had surfaced on AnTuTu last month, and now we have some new renders to share with you. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see the alleged Nokia D1C in the flesh. The phone sports a boxy design which is reminiscent of the Nokia Lumia 930, and yet it’s quite different at the same time. A couple of variants leaked, the gold variant sports two capacitive buttons below the display, and in-between them you’ll notice the third button which is either a capacitive home key or a physical home button, we’re still not sure. This button will probably double as a fingerprint scanner though, no matter whether it’s capacitive or an actual physical key. The black and white models of the device come with three capacitive buttons below the display. The company’s branding is present on both the front and back of the Nokia D1C, and the power / lock and volume rocker keys are located on the phone’s right-hand side. We’re still not sure whether these renders are real or not, so take this info with a grain of salt.

According to the specs that popped up on AnTuTu a while back, the Nokia D1C will sport a fullHD display. In addition to that, the phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 430 64-bit octa-core processor, and 3GB of RAM will be included in this package, as will 32GB of internal storage. The 13-megapixel snapper will be placed on the back of this device, and an 8-megapixel camera will be available up front.
