OnePlus had launched two smartphones this year, the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. Both of these devices are the company’s flagship smartphones, and are amongst the best-specced devices out there. The two phones look identical on the outside, aside from the all-new Gunmetal color variant for the OnePlus 3T. Anyhow, the two devices are identical in all aspects except the following: OnePlus 3T comes with a more powerful SoC, bigger battery and better front-facing camera (+there’s a variant with more storage available as well). Having that in mind, the OnePlus 3T was introduced quite recently, and the company had announced that the phone will become available in the US and Canada on November 22nd. Well, you guessed it, the phone is now officially available for the US and Canada consumers, read on.
Those of you who are interested in getting the OnePlus 3T in the US or Canada can now do so via the company’s official website (source link down below), the phone is priced at $439 (it’s actually around $448 in Canada, equivalent to $599 CAD). Do keep in mind that only the Gunmetal variant is available at the moment, the Soft Gold model will roll out in December. Having that in mind, it’s worth mentioning that the phone will become available in a number of other countries on November 28th. Those countries are: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia and the United Kingdom. In addition to becoming available in the US, the OnePlus 3T is going to become official in India soon as well, as the company’s India GM did tease the device’s launch in the country on Twitter earlier today.
The OnePlus 3T is made out of metal, while it sports a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) Optic AMOLED display. The phone packs in 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of non-expandable internal storage. The OnePlus 3T is fueled by the Snapdragon 821 SoC, along with the Adreno 530 GPU. The 16-megapixel OIS snapper is placed on the back of the device, and a 16-megapixel shooter also comes on the front side of this phone, though we’re looking at different sensors here. The 3,400mAh battery is also included in this package, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the phone with OnePlus’ OxygenOS.
