Pokémon Go has had a whirlwind of success since it launched officially in most of the major markets, and as it continues to expand the popularity continues to expand little by little as well. Sure, the popularity isn’t as large scale as it was within the game’s first month, but it’s certainly not tanking and there’s a good chance that new features as well as consistent updates will help to increase engagement with players. Of course, there are still a couple of features that players are waiting on, one of those being one on one battles between trainers anytime and anywhere as long as both trainer are playing the game, but Niantic does have another new feature on the way with Daily Bonuses.
According to Niantic’s recent blog post from earlier this afternoon, Daily Bonuses are set to be introduced within an update that is hitting devices in the near future. There is no detail yet on an exact time frame but, Niantic does mention that the feature will be “coming soon,” which displays that it’s not that far off, or it should be as anything further out than a month wouldn’t really be soon. All that aside, Daily Bonuses look like they’ll have quite a bit to offer the players, which is essentially just extra experience and stardust.
Niantic has set up the bonuses to reward trainers with a set amount of 500 XP and 600 stardust for every single day that a Pokémon is caught, and if trainers play every day for seven days and catch a Pokémon each day, then they’ll be rewarded with 2,000 XP and 2,400 stardust upon catching their seventh Pokémon. In addition to catching daily Pokémon, there are also daily rewards for hitting up PokéStops and spinning the discs. One visit to a PokéStop each day with a disc spin will reward players with not only 500 more XP, but also a number of additional items. Unfortunately, Niantic doesn’t mention what these items are so they could be anything from candy to incense. Lastly, if trainers visit a PokéStop each day and spin the disc at that PokéStop and do this for seven days straight, then they’ll receive a “great amount” of additional items alongside 2,000 XP. Between catching the Pokémon and visiting PokéStops each day for a week as well as every other bit of experience and all the other items you’ll get simply by playing past these bonus reward requirements, there’s loads of potential for massive amounts of XP and items, which means faster leveling and potentially some really useful in-game stuff. Get out there and be the very best, trainers.
