Samsung's Android Nougat Galaxy Beta Program Now Official

For the past week or so, it has been widely known that Samsung would be kicking off its Galaxy Beta Program in select markets. Through this Galaxy Beta Program, users from the selected markets will get the chance to try out the beta version of the upcoming major Android update, which is no other than Android 7.0 Nougat. The South Korean company first launched the Galaxy Beta Program last year, which allowed selected users to have a taste of Android 6.0 Marshmallow back then.

Now, Samsung has officially announced on its website that its Galaxy Beta Program is now open to Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge users. However, the program is only available for users in select markets for now, namely in the United States, United Kingdom and South Korea. Samsung has also mentioned that the program will soon be available for users in China as well. If you sign up for the Galaxy Beta Program, the company has mentioned that users will be able to get a feel of Android 7.0 Nougat throughout it. Samsung’s latest Grace UX is also present, and users will be allowed to provide feedback regarding performance, reliability and usability. With the feedback gathered from participants of the program, Samsung will be able to develop the software to be more reliable, and high-performing for all Galaxy users.

In order to be applicable for the Galaxy Beta Program, you will need to meet the requirements of it, which includes downloading the Galaxy Beta Program app through Galaxy Apps or the Samsung Members app which is available through the Google Play Store or Galaxy Apps, depending on your country of residence. At the moment, Samsung is accepting applicants on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you do want to participate, do sign up as soon as possible.
