SEGA's Latest Game Is Football Manager Touch 2017

For some, sports games are the best games, but not all sports games are alike. Take Football Manager Touch for example, which has just recently been launched in the Play Store in its 2017 form, making it the latest game in SEGA’s lineup and the most recent FM Touch game in the running series. Unlike other games that focus on the sport of Soccer such as FIFA 16, FM Touch 2017 is all about managing your club and players as opposed to controlling the players and scoring goals. This unique approach to the sport and the game genre in general makes it more of a strategic offering as opposed to a more action oriented title. That of course, doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty of action to be enjoyed.

Since is the newest title in the FM Touch franchise, there are some changes and improvements that have been made following the last installment that players will want to make a note of. The first thing that’s worth mentioning is that FM Touch 2017 is only compatible with Android tablets, which means that those who have enjoyed this game on their smartphones in the past will unfortunately have to stick with playing the older titles if they don’t have a tablet to install it on. There is a fairly large list of compatible Android tablets, too, and so long as Android 4.4 or higher is installed the game should work on nearly any Android tablet. While the lack of smartphone compatibility is a bit of a downside, for those that do have tablets to play this game, there are tons of compelling features that will make the $19.99 price tag worth the investment.

First and foremost, the game boasts a new 3D engine that is improved over the previous version which helps with the updated animations. If you’ve never played one of the FM Touch games before, the animations are there for the matches that get played out based on your series of choices and club management decisions. The game has baked in social-media features that allow you as the manager to keep up on news and posts about clubs and any reactions from fans. There’s also a fairly large list of clubs to choose from, totaling 130, so you can pick your favorite and start working towards becoming the best club in the league.
