Video: OnePlus 3T Gets Unboxed On A Fighter Jet

The OnePlus 3T is the latest smartphone by OnePlus. This handset was introduced earlier this month, and it is a higher-end variant of the OnePlus 3 that landed back in June this year. That being said, the OnePlus 3T has been available for purchase in the US since November 22nd, and it is available for purchase in Europe starting today as well. Having that in mind, the company has just released a rather interesting OnePlus 3T video in order to promote their new flagship, so, let’s see what it’s about, shall we.

The company has released an official unboxing video for the OnePlus 3T, though this is not your regular unboxing video, not by any means. If you take a look at the embedded video down below, you’ll get to see the OnePlus 3T unboxed on a fighter jet, which is surely a great marketing stunt by OnePlus. The device was unboxed in the Czech Republic, and the video is exactly what you’d expect, Mr. Jake Paul unboxes the device inside of a cockpit of a fighter jet, and also highlights some features of the device, as well as its specifications. The video sure is fun to watch, and as already mentioned, this is great for marketing, as we don’t recall seeing anything like it thus far. So, if you’d like to take a look at the video itself, it’s embedded down below.

The OnePlus 3T features a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of non-expandable internal storage. This phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core processor, while it packs in a 3,400 mAh battery on the inside. The 16-megapixel OIS camera is placed on the back of this metal-clad smartphone, and you’ll also find a 16-megapixel snapper on its front side, though these two are completely different sensors. Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the OnePlus 3T, and OxygenOS is available on top of Google’s OS. Do keep in mind that Android 7.0 Nougat will land on the phone before the end of this year.

The OnePlus 3T is actually quite similar to the OnePlus 3, the two devices look identical, even though the OnePlus 3T comes in a new color variant. The dimensions of these two phones are identical, even though the OnePlus 3T comes with a larger battery, more powerful SoC and a larger camera on its front side.
