Lenovo’s Moto G devices are considered to be amongst the best budget phones out there, and pretty much all Moto G variants have just received a price cut in India. The Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 Play are now more affordable in India through Amazon India. Do keep in mind that this is a time-limited discount, it will be available until the third week of January, which means you have about a month to purchase either of these devices if you’d like to save up some cash. That being said, let’s see how much these phones cost now, shall we.
Both variants of the Moto G4 are now discounted in India, both the 2GB RAM + 16GB storage model, and the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. The former variant is now Rs. 2,000 ($30) more affordable, as it costs Rs. 10,499 ($155), while you can purchase the more powerful model for Rs. 11,999 ($177), it is also Rs. 2,000 ($30) more affordable than it was. Two Moto G4 Plus variants are Rs. 1,000 ($15) more affordable, the 2GB RAM + 16GB storage Moto G4 Plus model now costs Rs. 12,499 ($184), while the more powerful 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model can be purchased for Rs. 13,999 ($206) now. The Moto G4 Play is also more affordable, though unlike the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus, this phone is ‘only’ Rs. 500 ($7) more affordable, as it costs Rs. 8,499 ($125). Now, if you’re using a Standard Chartered credit or debit card, you’re in luck, as you’ll get 10% of the total value back as cashback. If you, however, plan to purchase the Moto G4 Ply using Amazon gift cards, you’ll get Rs. 1,000 ($15) back after you purchase the phone.
So, as you can see, there are plenty of options for you to consider if you’re interested in purchasing either of the Moto G4 models, if you live in India, of course. These are definitely not high-end devices, not even close to that, but they’re very compelling budget devices which are more than capable of serving most users out there. The Moto G4 is fueled by the Snapdragon 617 64-bit octa-core processor, while it comes with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 5.5-inch fullHD display. The Moto G4 Plus sports a 5.5-inch fullHD display, while you’ll find a 16-megapixel shooter on its back, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow comes out of the box, while you’re getting the same SoC here as the one you’ll find in the Moto G4. The Moto G4 Play is inferior to both the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus, it sports a 5-inch 720p display, while it comes with the Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core SoC.
