Last week, LeEco announced that they were bringing their smartphones and Android TV sets to Amazon. They were set to begin selling on December 1st, but it was delayed for some reason, however, they are now available. The 43-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch TV’s are available, however the 85-inch model is not listed just yet. Which is likely due to the fact that they aren’t planning to sell tons of that size, given the size and price.
The LeEco Super4 X43 Pro is a 43-inch 4K TV that runs Android TV. It’s their lowest priced TV, coming in at just $649. Meanwhile the Super4 X55 is their 55-inch TV, like the Super4 X43 Pro, it does also feature Android TV along with being a 4K model. This one will cost you roughly $899. Finally, we have the LeEco Super4 X65, which as you can tell by the name, is their 65-inch TV and it is also a 4K model with Android TV built in. This one will set you back about $1,399. The prices here are pretty aggressive with similar models on the market. In fact, these TV’s are almost competing directly with VIZIO – whom LeEco bought earlier this year – however, one of the main advantages to buying one of LeEco’s Super4 TV’s over one of VIZIO’s SmartCast TV’s is the fact that LeEco is using full Android TV, while VIZIO is just adding in Chromecast support.
There are some nice perks with these LeEco TV’s. If you pick up the LeEco Super4 X43 Pro, you’ll get three months of AT&T’s newly launched DIRECTV NOW service for free. The other two larger models get 6 months of DIRECTV NOW. Additionally, the Super4 X55 and X65 give you a 6-month subscription to EcoPass free, and a 3-month subscription on the smaller 43-inch model.
As expected with these TV’s having a 4K resolution, they do produce an amazing looking picture. Part of the reason for that is the fact that all three do support HDR, allowing for blacker blacks and whiter whites. Making the picture look even better than just a standard 4K panel would. All three models are available with Amazon Prime shipping, however the 65-inch TV does need a delivery scheduled.
