NVIDIA has now kicked off a new sale on quite a wide selection of games that are compatible with the NVIDIA SHIELD Android TV. Games on offer include Android games that are downloadable from the Google Play Store, as well as games that are available through NVIDIA’s own GeForce NOW service. The sale has now started and will run from today through until Dec. 28. As such, you will find more than 60 game titles on sale and some are being discounted by as much as 85-percent off their normal selling price.
In terms of the straight Android games (which can be downloaded and played locally on your SHIELD device), Contrast is on sale and down from its usual $9.99 price to its sale price of only $8.00. Likewise, DOOM 3 BFG Edition is also on sale (down from its usual $9.99 price) for only $4.99. While Parallax is down from $4.99 to only $1.25. If you are looking for an even more affordable game then Pix the Cat is currently reduced from $4.99 down to only $0.99. While other notable Android game discounts include Q.U.B.E.: Directors Cut – which is down from $5.99 to only $3.00, Q*Bert Rebooted: SHIELD Edition – which is also down from $5.99 to only $3.00, Stealth Inc 2: A Game of Clones – which is on sale for half price (down from $9.99) at only $4.99 and Ultimate Chicken Horse – which is down from $11.99 to only $5.99. And these are just some of the titles that have been reduced.
If you are more in the market for some GeForce NOW streaming gaming action, then there are quite a few games available as part of this sale. In fact, a little too many to name but to throw a few of the titles out there, Day of the Tentacle Remastered is reduced from $14.99 to only $7.50, Dead Island Riptide: Definitive Edition is reduced from $19.99 to only $12 and While Homefront: The Revolution is down from $39.99 to only $24. It is also worth noting that a number of titles are dramatically down in price, including Grim Fandango Remastered, Risen 3 – Titan Lords, Sacred 3 and Saints Row: Gat out of Hell – which are all currently available for only $3.75.
