Project Fi Is Handing Out Free Play Store Credits To Subscribers

Project Fi is ringing in the holidays with a nice little gift for subscribers, beginning with a free $10 in Play Store credits. While this is the season of giving and Project Fi is all too happy to give back to their customers for being loyal, you won’t just get the Play Store credits immediately. Rather you’ll need to head to their special holiday-themed website and participate in the fun activities. Of course, the activities are certainly worth it if you’re not constantly saying bah and humbug all day long.

As part of Project Fi’s promotion, there will actually be four weeks worth of surprises, gifts, and more to participate in, with today kicking off the first week, and the second week beginning on December 12th. All of the activities are technically displayed on the webpage, but they won’t unlock until the specified dates, not too unlike what Google has done with the Santa Tracker application that only unlocks content after a certain date has passed. For this week, while the free Play Store credits are certainly a nice gesture, the other activities you can do are presented in the form of a sort of treasure hunt, with you needing to click around on the screen to find various hidden interactive points that will unveil the next surprise, one of them being an activity that has you take a selfie with a winter-themed backdrop and then share it with friends.

Each week also has its own theme, with this week being labeled “Spread The Cheer.” Naturally, a couple of the surprises will have you sharing things across social media, thus spreading the cheer with other individuals and in turn other Project Fi subscribers. The theme of the second week is Let the Holidays Move You, while the third week is Unplug and Connect, aimed at encouraging you to enjoy time with family, friends, and loved ones. Finally, the last week is titled Make a Better Tomorrow and is geared towards encouraging people to think forward about the new year. As each week unlocks, you’ll be able to explore the different surprises, and perhaps more gifts, that pop up, just as you did with week one. if you’re a subscriber of Project Fi, this is definitely something to consider engaging with.
